50 million euro loan to Serbia

World Bank, Serbian Office, has prepared the loan in the overall amount of 50 million euros for the projects invested from the National Investment Plan (NIP). This information was announces today by  Simon Gray, Director of the World bank office in Serbia. 
This loan should be approved by World Bank Director Board, and later ratified when the Serbian Parliament is established, so that it can be used by the end of this year, At the press conference at the Serbian Government Building, Mr. Gray expressed his contentment regarding the way the financial aid had been used previously by this NIP office, and also his contentment regarding this financial institution’s competencies and experts in conducting this large and complex projects. 
He emphasized that World Bank had helped in preparing the projects currently financed by NIP and also in monitoring during conducting these projects. The new projects competition is open until 15. of May.
