Meeting with the “Ministry of Youth and Sport” representatives

The meeting with the “Ministry of Youth and Sport” which was held on the 27.12.2007 in the Ministry’s headquarters in the “Serbian Palace” building was attended by the following representatives of the Youth Voices Serbia group: Bjanka Milićević, Dejan Tonić, Nikola Vučićević, Dimitrije Talić and the group co-ordinator Duško Krsmanović.

The World Bank Office was represented by Vesna Kostić and Mirjana Popović.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister - Snežana Samardžić Marković, minister’s assistant - Ivana Kovačević, and the representative of the ministry office - Mina Arsić.

The representatives of the Ministry were on this occasion introduced with the work and accomplishments of the YVG Serbia so far. Our work was met with positive reactions and in this way a link between the Ministry and our group has been made and a door opened for future collaborations. A general plan for upcoming co-operation was made, especially in the youth politics sector. A channel for mutual information exchange was made as well as a deal about informing the Ministry about all of the group’s activities so they can be followed up on time by this institution, which is currently the most important factor that affects the position of the youth in our country.
